About Christopher Burden, DC

Dr. Christopher Burden is not a golf instructor who also knows the body. He's a clinician who has spent his career at the intersection of human movement and golf performance — the exact combination Axis Golf Lab is built on.

His doctoral thesis at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in Connecticut, the first university-based Doctor of Chiropractic program in the United States, examined a single question: how do mobility, alignment, and spinal mechanics translate directly to clubhead speed? That research became the intellectual foundation for everything he does with golfers today.

He holds the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Golf 2 certification, the advanced credential built for applying TPI's biomechanics methodology to real assessment and treatment, alongside TPI Level 1, full National Board certification in chiropractic, and advanced training in Graston Technique and soft tissue therapy. He has been in practice for nearly two decades.

What that means in practice: when you work with Dr. Burden, you're not getting a swing tip. You're getting a complete assessment of the body driving the swing, the restrictions, the compensations, the physical limitations no lesson has ever addressed, and a training system built specifically around what he finds.

Every client works with Dr. Burden directly. One practitioner, one-on-one, every session. That's the Axis model.

Dr. Burden and his wife Erin live in Roswell with their children Hunter, Isabella, and Savannah, and their rescue dog Blue.
